October 2016 – Ongoing

ReZamp is a large real estate brokerage with powerful software that discovers and analyzes MLS properties in real time.

We needed to build a team of experts that could turn ReZamp’s ideas into a powerful analytical platform for the real estate market. They needed to be able to send notifications about real estate market changes and utilize ETL Service to add new MLS (Multiple Listing Service) and IDX (International Data Exchange) systems.

IN THE FIRST PHASE, using Celery, we developed the ETL service, ensuring its compatibility with ReZamp’s existing online product. We added various MLS and IDX systems, and configured ETL rules, including time and period of data update.

IN THE SECOND PHASE, we optimized the online service that analyzes properties for sale, using Python and Celery Cluster. In order to make the service compatible with many marketplaces, we added a Master-Slave replication with AWS Aurora.

IN THE THIRD PHASE, we conducted a UI/UX design update and optimization and improved their overall notifications system. These improvements cut the server response time down from ten seconds to 0.5 – 0.8 seconds. Back end technologies we used at this stage included Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, AWS Lambdas. Front end technologies included the ReactJS framework.
